BY-LAW No. 2797-85
OF THE MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA
BEING a By-law to provide for the erection
of a stop sign on Fairway Drive at the
intersection of Brookland Avenue in the
Town of Aurora.
WHEREAS the provisions of section 117 of the Highway Traffic Act
R.S.O., 1980 Chapter 198 as amended provides that Council may,
by By-law, provide for the erection of stop signs at intersection
on Highways under its jurisdiction,
AND WHEREAS the council of the Corporation of the Town of Aurora
deems it expedient to erect a stop sign at the intersection of
Fairway Drive and Brookland Avenue,
NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Corporation of the Town of Aurora
enacts as foliliows:
l. THAT the existing yeild sign presently facing traffic
E§-St ·bound on Fairway Drive at the intersection:· of
Brookland Avenue shall be replaced with a stop sign.
2. THAT the said stop sign shall be erected in accordance
with the regulations issued by the Ministry of
TPcmsportation and Communications therefor,
3. THAT the provisiorrs·of this By-law shall come into
force and take effect upon final passage thereof.
