BY-LAW No. 2766-85
OF THE MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA
BEING a By-law to amend By-law 2613-83,
as amended, a By-law to provide for the
Regulation of Parking in the Town of
Aurora.
WHEREAS the Municipal Council of the Town of Aurora deems
it expedient to amend By-law 2613-83;
AND WHEREAS Section 210 of the Municipal Act R.S.O. 1980,
as amended, permits Council to pass By-laws for the regulation
of parking;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town
of Aurora ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
(1) THAT Part Four, Section (3), (Parking Restrictions
on Specified Streets), be amended by the addition
thereto of the following:
ORCHARD HEIGHTS
BOULEVARD
FROM.: The Yonge
Street

TO: The Bathurst
Street
Intersection
South Side
(2) THAT there shall be a new Clause 8 added to. Part Four
such Clause to read as follows:
8. Stopping Prohibi.ted on Specified Streets
When properly worded signs have been erected
and are on display, no person shall stop his
vehicle on the parts of the streets hereinunder
set out in Column One, on the sides of the
streets set out in Column Two.

(3) THAT Clause 1 of PART SIX: Penalties shall be
amended by the addition of reference to Part Four
Section 8 so that such clause shall now read as
follows:
1. Any person violating any of the provisions
under Part Four, Sections 1,2,3,5,6,7, and
8 may make settlement within five days at
the Town of Aurora Administrative Centre;
Saturdays, Sundays and holidays excepted,
on payment of Ten (10) dollars, otherwise
a summons may be issued and upon conviction,
Clause 3 of Part Six shall apply.
