OF THE MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA
BEING A ZONING BY-LAW
WHEREAS it is deemed advisable to amend By-law Number 2213-78.
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Aurora
enacts as follows:
1. Section 3.9 is hereby amended by adding the word "propane" between
the words "gasoline" and "oil".
2. Section 3.53 is hereby amended by changing the title from "Gasoline
Bar" to "Gasoline and/or Propane Bar" and by adding the clause "or
propane" after the word gasoline in the second line. Sections 22.1,
22.3.1 and 23.1 are amended by changing the permitted uses from
''gasoline bars" to ''gasoline and/or propane bars:'
3. Section 6.3 is hereby amended by changing the title to "Automobile
Service Station, Public Garage" or "Gasoline and/ or Propane Bar".
1!. Section 6.3.1! is hereby amended by adding the words "and Propane"
between the words "Gasoline and Pumps".
5. Section 6.3.5 is hereby renumbered to 6.3.6 and the following is added
as Section 6.3.5.
6.3.5 Location of Propane Storage Tanks
Vertical or horizontal propane fuelling tanks having a water
capacity of not more than 7,580 litres may be permitted in
any yard subject to the following minimum setback provisions
and also subject to the provisions of Ontario Regulation
825/82 as amended by Ontario Regulation 522/81! the
"Propane Storage, Handling and Utilization Code".

(a) minimum setback from front property line -5
', metres,
(b) minimum setback from rear property line 5
.> metres,
(c) minimum setback from side property lines -5
metres,
(d) minimum setback from any residential use or zone -30
metres,
(e) minimum setback from building -7.5 metres.
6. No part of this By-law will come into force until the provisions of the
Planning Act have been complied with but subject to such provisions
the by-law will take effect from the day of passing thereof.
