BY-LAW NUMBER 2730-85
OF THE MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA
BEING A ZONING BY-LAW
WHEREAS it is deemed advisable to amend By-law Number 2213-
78.
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of
Aurora enacts as follows:
1. Section 6.26.1.5 is hereby deleted and the following
added in its place:
"Factory or industrial
building:
i)
ii)
Having a floor area
of 2,800 square metres
or less.
Having a floor area in
excess of 2,800 square
metres.
One parking space for
each 50 square metres
of floor area of the
building.
One parking space for
each 50 square metres of
of floor area of the
building for the first
2,800 square metres.
One parking space for
each 90 square metres of
floor area for the second
2,800 square metres.
One parking space for
each 180 square metres

o;f the corporation that the total number of parking
spaces required under Sections 6.26.1.5(i) and
Cii2 and Section 6.26.1.6. need not be provided
fop the initial occupancy of the building fewer
parking spaces may be constructed provided that
the site plan indicates the ability to accommodate
the total number of parking spaces at a future
date in conformity with the provisions of Sections
6.2 .. 6.1.5(i) and (ii) and Section 6.26.1.6.

That the following be added as Section 6.26.1.18:
Multiple occupancy buildings
in the M1, M1-A, Ml-'-1 and
M2 Zones.
3 spaces for each
100 square metres for
the first 100 square
metres of floor area of
each premises
and 1 space for each 50
square metres for the
remaining floor area of
the premises.
3. That the following be added as Section 3.144.
Premises
Shall mean the area of a building or part thereof
occupied or used by a business enterprise. In a multiple
occupancy building occupied by more than one business,
each busirtass: shall be considered a separate premises.
4. No part of this by-law will come into force until the
provisisions of the Planning Act have been complied
with but subject to those provisions the By-law will
take effect from the day of passing hereof.

Ontario Regulation 404/83. made by the Lieutenant
Governor-in-Council under subsection 17 of section 34 of The
Planning Act (1983). I also certify that the 35 day objection
period expired on March 11th, 1985 and to this date no notice
of objection to the by-law has been filed by any person in the
office of the clerk.

Amendment No. 31
to the
Official Plan for the
Aurora Planning Area
This amendment to the Official Plan for the Aurora
Planning Area, which has been adopted by the Council
of the Corporation of the Town of Aurora is hereby
modified under the provisions of section 21 of the
Planning Act, as follows:
l. Schedule 'A' to Amendment No. 31 is deleted
and replaced with the new Schedule 'A'.
As thus modified, this amendment is hereby approved
pursuant to section 21 of the Planning Act, as
Amendment No. 31 to the Official Plan for the Aurora
Planning Area.
