OF THE MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF THE
BEING a. By-law to dedicate certain
lands on Bathurst Street for the
purposes of a public hiehway.
WHEREAS the lands hereinafter described were acquired by the
Corporation of th.; Township of King and became vested in the
Corporation of the Tmm of Aurora on the lst day of January,
1971 by virtue of the Regional Municipality of York Act and
Section 20 of the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1970, Chapter 284;
• NOW THEREFORE tha Council of the Corporation of the Town of Aurora
ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. The lands described in.Schedules "A" and "B", hereto
attached, are hereby dedicated as ·a public highway

and declared to form part of Bathurst Street CYR 38).
2. THAT the said Schedules "A" and "B", hereto attached
shall form part of this By-law.

SCHEDULE "A" to By-law 2692-84
Lands in the Town of Aurora in The Regional Municipa~ity
of York formerly in the Township of King in the County of
York and being composed of part of Lot 73 in Concession 1 of
the said Town, which said parcel may be more particularly
described as follows:
COMMENCING at the northwesterly angle of said Lot 73;
THENCE southerly along the westerly limit of said lot a
distance of 400 feet to a point of intersection with a line
draw~ parallel to the northerly limit of said lot;
THENCE. easterly along said parallel line a distance of 10
feet;
THENCE northerly in a straight line parallel to the westerly
limit of the said lot, a distance of 400 feet more or less
to a point in the northerly limit of said lot, said point
being distant easterly 10 feet from the northwesterly angle
of said lot;
THENCE westerly along said northerly limit a distance of 10
feet to the point o:l' commencement.

of York formerly in the Township of King in the County of
York and being composed of part of Lot 73 in Concession 1,
West of Yonge Street, of the said Town and being more particularly
described as follows:
PREMISING that all bearings herein ar~ astronomic and are
referred to the meridiap passing through the south~est
corner of Lot 6, Concession 2 in the said Township;

BEGINNING at the southwest corner of the said Lot 73;
THENCE North 10 degrees 29 minutes West alon~ the westerly
limit of the said lot, 92.39 feet to a bendH i:·n the said
limit;
THENCE North 8 degrees 34 minutes West along the said limit,
237.61 feet to the point of commencement of the herein
described parcel of land;
THENCE North 73 degrees 21 minutes East, 52,52 feet to an
iron bar planted;
THENCE North 8 degrees 34 minutes West, 338.15 feet to at
iron bar planted;
THENCE South 81 degrees 26 minutes West, 42.00 feet to an
iron bar planted;
THENCE North 8 degrees 34 minutes West, 100.00 feet to an
iron bar planted;
THENCE South 81 degrees 26 minutes West, 10.00 feet to a
point in the said westerly limit of the lot;
