OF THE MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA
BEING a By-law to amend By-law
2616-83, an interim tax levy
By-law:
WHEREAS Section 159 of the Municipal Act R.S.O. 1980, as amended,
authorizes Council to pass a By~law before the adoption of the
estimates in any year, providing that in that year and in each
succeeding year a levy be made before, adoption of the estimates
of the year;
AND WHEREAS the Council has enacted and passed By-law 2616-83, a
By-law to provide for an interim tax levy in the year 1984 and in
each succeedimg year;
AND WHEREAS the Council deems•it expedient to amend certain provisions
of said By-law so that same shall now apply to the interim tax levy
for 1985;
NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the Town
of Aurora ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT Section 4 of By-law No. 2616-83 be and is hereby repealed
and the following substituted therefor:
4. The dates for payment of taxes under this by-law shall be
as follows:
Due date <!if lst installment: FEB:RUAJIY 28th•
Due date of 2nd installment: MA,:RCH 29th.
Due date of 3rd installment: APRIL 30th.
2. THAT the provisions of this By-law shall come into force and
be effective upon final passage thereof.
