OF THE MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA
A BY-LAW TO APPROVE THE ACQUISITION OF CERTAIN LANDS FROM 463971 ONTARIO
LIMITED AND ANTHONY RAPONI TO ESTABLISH AN INDUSTRIAL PARK IN THE
TOWN OF AURORA.
WHEREAS by virtue of paragraph 210(50) of The Municipal Act, R.S.O.
l980,c302,this Corporation is empowered to acquire lands for municipal
purposes and specifically to acquire land for the purposes of sites
for the establishment and carrying on of industries and of industrial
operations and uses incidential thereto;
AND WHEREAS 463971 Ontario Limited and Anthony Raponi have agreed to sell
to this Corporation the lands mentioned in Schedule "A" appended
hereto;
AND WHEREAS this Corporation requires those lands for the aforementioned
purposes and such other lawful purposes as may from time to time
hereafter appropriate;
AND WHEREAS this Corporation, as purchaser, is exercising its Option
to purchase the lands set out in Schedule "A" which is contained in
the Option Agreement dated November 5,1980 between 463971 Ontario
Limited and Anthony Raponi, as Optioners, and The Corporation of The
Town of Aurora, as Optionee, which Option Agreement was registered
against the title to the lands set out in Schedule "A" on
December 17,1980 as Instrument No. 263318.
AND WHEREAS By Deed of Grant dated October 4,1983 between 463971 Ontario
Limited and Anthony Raponi, as grantors, and The Corporation of
The Town of Aurora, as grantee, which Deed of Grant was registered on
October 13,1983 as Instrument No. 328869 this Corporation acquired
the lands mentioned in Schedule "A"
NOW THEREFORE, the Municipal Council of the Town of Aurora, hereby enacts
as By-law No. 2637-84 of The Corporation of The Town of Aurora the
following:
l. That this Municipal Corporation hereby approves the acquisition in
manner aforementioned of the lands hereunder mentioned in Schedule "A"
for the purposes of this Corporation.
2. That the Mayor and Clerk of this Municipal• .corporation be authorized
to sign and execute under the Seal of The Corporation of The Town of
Aurora all documents necessary to effect the purchase and works
required for the acquisition and servicing, of those lands mentioned
in Schedule "A" for industrial sites when clear title to the lands
is available.

TO BY-LAW # 2637-84
ALL AND SINGULAR that certain parcel or tract of land
and premises situate, lying and being in The Town of
Aurora, in the Regional Municipality of York, being
composed of Part of Lot 78, Concession L,on the East
side of Yonge Street and Part of Lots 186 and 187 on
registered Plan 246 (formerly in the Township of Whitchurch
in the County of York), more particularly described as
Part l on a Plan deposited in the said Registry Office
as Plan 65R-3480.
