OF THE MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA
BEING A ZONING BY-LAW
WHEREAS it is deemed advisable to amend By-law 2213-78;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of
Auro a ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
THAT Section 23.3 is hereby amended by adding the
following as Section 23.3.2. Notwithstanding the
provisions of Section 23.1, the lands shown zoned C4-2
~~e used ~r commercial clubs in addition to the
uses p~~~:ted by Section 23.1.
2. That the zoning~egory applying to the lands shown in
hatching on Schedule 'A' attached hereto and forming
part of this by-law is hereby amended from "C4 -Shopping
':Centre Commercial" to "C4-2 Shopping Centre Commercial

3. 'iTHAT no part of this By-law shall come into force until
the provisions of the Planning Act have been complied
with, but subject to such provisions, the By-law shall
take effect from the day of passing thereof.

Explanatory Note
By-law 2700-84 has the following purpose and effect:
To amend By-law 2213-78 the zoning by-law to add commercial
clubs to the permitted uses for the property known as the
"Gateway Plaza". The definition of a Commercial Club is:
"means any club operated for gain and does not include
a private club, as defined herein.''
The applicant intends to open a karate club on the premises.
