BY-LAW NUMBER 2646-84
OF THE MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF T~E TOWN OF AURORA
BEING A ZONING BY-LAW
WHEREAS it is deemed advisable to amend By-law 2213-78.
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of
Aurora enacts as follows:
1. That Section 6.26 is hereby amended by deleting Section
6.26.1.3 and adding the following in its place.
Any commercial use except those
uses specifically listed in this
section.
Medical Clinic.
Banks
Individual retail uses within
the Central Business District
whose gross leasable floor area
does not exceed 300 square
metres.
Shopping centres whose gross
leasable floor area does not
exceed 28,000 square metres
and the food store does not
exceed 50 percent of the floor
area.
Shopping centres whose gross
leasable floor area does not
exceed 28,000 square metres
and the food store exceeds
50 percent of the floor area.
Shopping centres whose gross
leasable floor area exceeds
28,000 square metres.
6;0 spaces for each
100 square metres
of commercial floor
area.
6.5 spaces for each
100 square metres
devoted to the use.
8;00 spaces for each
100 square metres
d~voted to the use.
4.5 spaces for each
100 square metres of
cdmmercial floor area.

2. That Section 3 is hereby amended by adding the following
as section 3.142.

Central Business District: means the area centred on
Yonge Street between Irwin Avenue and Ransom Street
more particularly described on Schedule 'E'.
That Schedule 'E' attached hereto and forming part of
this By-law is hereby added to By-law 2213-78.
No part of this By-law will come into force until the
provisions of the Planning Act have been complied with
but subject to such provisions the By-law will take
effect from the day of passing thereof.

Amendment No. 27
to the
Official Plan for the
Aurora Planning Area
This amendment to the Official Plan for the Aurora
Planning Area, which has been adopted by the Council
of the Corporation of the Town of Aurora, is hereby
approved in accordance with section 21 of the Planning
Act as Amendment No. 27 to the Official Plan for the
Aurora Planning Area.
