BYLAW - Transfer of Easement - 19831121 - 262283BY-LAW NO. 0( b ,52 eX -&s OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA A BY-LAW TO APPROVE THE TRANSFER OF AN EASEMENT IN FAVOUR OF AURORA HYDRO-ELECTRIC COMMISSION. WHEREAS, this Municipal Corporation is now seized and possessed of the lands mentioned in Schedule "A" appended hereto; AND WHEREAS, by virtue of Paragraph 210(50) of the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1980, Chapter 302, this Municipal Corporation is empowered to sell lands for municipal purposes and specifically to sell lands for the purposes of sites for the establishment and carrying on of industries or industrial operations and uses incidental thereto; AND WHEREAS, the lands mentioned in Schedule "A" are to be sold by this Municipal Corporation for the development of an Industrial Park; AND WHEREAS, Aurora Hydro-Electric Commission requires an easement over the lands mentioned in Schedule "Bn, being part of the lands mentioned in Schedule "A" and whereas by Transfer of Easement dated August 22, 1983 and registered on August 22, 1983 as Instrument No. LT 138469, this Municipal Corporation transferred an easement to Aurora Hydro Electric Commission for the purposes and with the provisions as set out in the Transfer; a true copy of which is attached hereto as Schedule "C"; NOW THEREFORE, The Municipal Corporation of The Town of Aurora hereby enacts as By-Law No .. ;21/J ,;2,J. -~3 of The Corporation of The Town of Aurora the following: 1. 2. 3. That an easement over the lands mentioned in Schedule "B" be conveyed to Aurora Hydro-Electric Commission; That the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to sign and execute under the seal of the Corporation of The Town of Aurora all documents necessary to effect the transfer of the easement over the lands mentioned in Schedule "B" in favour of Aurora Hydro-Electric Commission by this Municipal Corporation; The Mayor and Clerk be authorized to sign and execute under the seal of the Corporation of The Town of Aurora the Transfer of Easement dated August 22, 1983 and registered on the 22nd day of August, 1983 as Instrument No. LT 138469 from The Corporation of The Town of Aurora in favour of Aurora Hydro-Electric Commission.
