BY-LAW NO. 2603-83
OF THE MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA
BEING a By-law to temporarily close
Yonge Street, for a parade.
WHEREAS it is deemed expedient to temporarily close up and stop
traffic on a portion of Yonge Street (Highway No. 11) in Aurora
on Saturday November 19th, 1983, for the Santa Claus.Parade;
NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the
Town of Aurora ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT Yonge Street (Highway No. 11) be temporarily closed
up to through traffic in the Town of Aurora, on Saturday
November 19th, 1983, from the north side of Murray Drive
and the intersection of Aurora Heights Drive from 2:00p.m.
to 4:00p.m.
2. THAT the York Region Police and the Town of Aurora Public
Works Department be empowered to do all acts of assisting
traffic during this time period to allow the safe movement
of the parade on Yonge Street and alternate traffic routing.
