OF THE MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA
BEING A BY-LAW TO AMEND BY-LAW NUMBER 1863
A RESTRICTED AREA (ZONING) BY-LAW
WHEREAS it is deemed advisable to amend By-law Number 1863.
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of
Aurora enacts as follows:
l. Notwithstanding the provisions of By-law 1863 the
existing building on Lot 16, Registered Plan 5, Town of
Aurora, may be used for a "Business Office" subject to
the following provisions;
i A minimum of 7 parking spaces shall be provided to
the rear of the building which shall be separated
from adjoining residential property by (l) a
continuous strip of landscaped open space of not
less than 1.5 metres in width which shall be
planted with suitable trees or (2) a close boarded
fence either of which shall be not less than 1.5
metres in height.
2. No part of this By-law will come into force until the
provisions of the Planning Act have been complied with
but subject to such provisions the By-law will take
effect from the day of passing thereof.

Schedule 2
By-law 2570-83 has the following purpose and effect:
To amend By-law 1863 the By-law in force in urban part
of the Town of Aurora to permit the existing dwelling on lot
16, Registered Plan 5, municipally known as 83 Yonge Street
North, to be used for Business Office uses in addition to
the permitted residential uses. A business office is defined
as follows in Section V(f)(viii) of By-law 1863.
''Business Office'' shall mean any building or part of
building including professional offices, in which one or
more persons are employed in the management, direction or
conducting of any agency, business or brokerage, practice,
labour or fraternal organization, and shall exclude such
uses as retail, sale, manufacturing assembly, repair or
storage of goods, places of assembly and amusement;" The
construction of the parking area and landscaping etc.
around it is subject to site plan control.

CERTIFICATE UNDER SECTION 35(27) OF THE PLANNING ACT
I, K.B. Rodger, hereby certify that the notice for By-Law 2570-83
of The Corporation of the Town of Aurora, passed by the Council of
the Corporation on the __ 2_n_d __ day of -'--'M"'a::.y,__ ___ ,19_§_3
was given in the manner and form and to the persons prescribed by
regulation made by the Lieutenant Governor-in-Council under
subsection 24 of section 35 of The Planning Act. I also certify
that the 21 day objection period expired on May 27th, 1983
and to this date no notice of the by-law has been filed by any
person in the office of the clerk.
