OF THE MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA
BEING A BY-LAW TO AMEND BY-LAW NUMBER 2213-78
BEING A RESTRICTED AREA BY-LAW
WHEREAS it is deemed advisable to amend By-law
78.

NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of
Aurora enacts as follows:
1. The zoning category applying to Lots + & 2, R. P.
M-51 is hereby amended from Ml to Ml-1.
2. The following is hereby added as 25.4.2.1:

"The exterior side yard required for Lots 1 &
2, R.P. M51 shall be 18 metres."
No part of this By-law will come into force until
the provisions of The Planning Act have been
complied with but subject to such prp~isions the
By-law will take affect from the day of passing
thereof.

Schedule 2
By-law 2485-82 has the following purpose and effect.
To amend By-law 2213-78 the zoning by-law governing the
Town of Aurora as established by the Regional Municipality
of York Act to permit lots 1 and 2 of Registered Plan M-51
to be used to the following:
II Commercial uses incidental to or in c~mbination
with manufacturing including business iand
professional offices, banks, restaurar:its,
recreational facilities including aren;as, curling
rinks and private clubs, bowling alle:/,s, swimming
pools, banquet facilities, roller ska~ing rink,
any use permitted in the Ml Zone.''
These lots have flankage on Yonge Street arid therefore
have potential for commercial types of uses.
Clause 2 requires that the exterior side yaird setback
from Yonge Street be increased to 18 metres (59 .i055 feet) so
that the building(s) erected on Lots 1 and 2 wil'l be compatible
with the surrounding buildings.
