BYLAW - Amend 2319 79 (Parking) - 19811116 - 246881BY-LAW N0.2468-81
OF THE MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA
A By-law to Amend By-law #2319/79 being a By-law to prohibit
unauthorized parking of motor vehicles on Private Property or
on property of the Town where parking by the public is not
authorized.
Whereas the Municipal Council of the eorporation of the Town of
Aurora deems it expedient to amend By-law #2319/79.
Now therefore the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the
Town of Aurora enacts as follows.
1. That Section 6 of By-law #2319/79 be deleted and a
new Section added, so that Section 6 shall now read
as follows:
6. Where a parking tag is placed on a vehicle by a Police
Officer, a Special Constable, or a By-law Enforcement
Officer for an offence against the provisions of this
By-law, the owner or driver may make voluntary payment
of a penalty, in the amount of Twenty Five Dollars
($25.00) out of court, and if payment is not made in
accordance with this procedure, the provisions of Section
466 (2) of The Municipal Act (Ontario) for recovery of
penalties shall apply.
2. This By-law shall become effective upon final
passing thereof.
