OF THE MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA.
BEING A BY-LAW TO AMEND BY-LAW NUMBER 2213-78
WHEREAS it is deemed advisable to amend By-law Number 2213-
78.
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of
Aurora enacts as follows:
1. Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 6.36 respecting
sight on Daylighting Triangles and Section 21.2.2
respecting Exterior Sideyard, the exterior sideyard
requirement for that part of Lot 10, Registered Plan
68, shown in hatching on Schedule 'A' attached hereto
and forming part of this By-law, shall be nil.
2. No part of this By-law will come into force until the
provisions of The Planning Act have been complied with
but subject to such provisions the By-law will take
effect from the day of passing thereof.

SCHEDULE 2
By-law has the following purpose and effect:
To amend By-law 2213-78, a comprehensive zoning by-law
governing the Town of Aurora as established by the Regional
Municipality of York Act. By-law 2213-78 has a minimum
exterior sideyard requirement of 7.5 m (24.6 feet) in the
Central Business District. The main purpose of this require-
ment is to ensure adequate vision at the intersection of
streets. In this particular case, there is a wide municipal
boulevard and sidewalk area which serves that function.
This amendment will permit the building to the south of
the subject lands to be expanded onto the subject lands.
The metric dimensions shown on Schedule 'A' are equivalent
to imperial standards as follows:
7.62 m = 25 feet
35.05 m = 115 feet.
