OF THE MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA
A BY-LAW TO AUTHORIZE THE CHARGING OF ADMINISTRATIVE COSTS
FOR CERTIFIED STATEMENTS OF TAX ARREARS IN THE TOWN OF AURORA.
WHEREAS Section 549 of the Municipal Act enables a Council to pass a
By-law setting out the fees to be charged for Tax Arrears Certificates,
R.S.O. 1970, Chapter 284, Section 549, as amended,
AND WHEREAS it is deemed expedient to set the fee of $5.00 to cover
the costs of such administrative search and statement,
NOW THEREFORE THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN
OF AURORA ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT the Treasurer be authorized to charge the fee of Five Dollars
($5.00) for each Tax Certificate statement issued.
2. THAT this By-law shall become effective as of January 31st, 1980.
