BYLAW - Amend 1863 - 19790622 - 226679. I BY-LAW NUMBER 2266 -79 OF THE MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA. A BY-LAW TO AMEND BY-LAW NUMBER 1863 BEING A RESTRICTED AREA (ZONING) BY-LAW WHEREAS it is deemed advisable to amend by-law Number 1863. NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Aurora enacts as follows: 1. That Schedule "A" forming part of By-law Number 1863, as amended, is hereby further amended by changing the land use category on the subject lands shown in hatching on Schedule "A" attached hereto and forming part of this By-law from "D" development to "C" commercial. 2. No part of this By-law will come into force without Ontario Municipal Board approval, but subject to such approval, the By-law will take effect from the day of passing thereof. THE REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY OF YORK -PLANNING DEPARTMENT APRIL /2 ,1979 ' ' EXPLANATORY NOTE RE: BY-LAW NUMBER ,;(;:?~6-7 J This By-law proposes to amend By-law Number 1863, the zoning by-law, as it applies to approximately 1,500 square metres (1/3 acre) of land located at the north-west corner of Yonge Street and Henderson Drive from "D" development zone which is a holding zone to "C" commercial zone to permit the development of a small plaza containing about three stores. The approved Official Plan of the Town of Aurora provides for commercial development of this nature on the site. The provisions of By-law Number 1863 require that landscaping be provided on the commercial site where it abuts a non- commercial or industrial zone.
