BYLAW - Amend 2142 77 - 19780501 - 218678•.' (;} BY-LAW NUMBER 2186-78 OF THE MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA BEING A BY-LAW TO AMEND BY-LAW 2142-77 WHEREAS it is deemed advisable to amend By-law Number 2142-77. NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Aurora enacts as follows: 1. That a new paragr~ph be added to Section 5 of By-law 2142-77 to provide as follows: "Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 5.1.3(c) hereof, respecting minimum lot area, minimum lot front- age on a public highway and minimum side yards the lands shown in hatching on Schedule "A" attached hereto and forming part of this by-law may be used for the erection of a single family dwelling and buildings accessory there- to provided that all buildin~ or structures are located not less than 10 feet from the side lot lines." 2. No part of this By-law will come into force without Ontario Municipal Board approval, but subject to such approval, the By-law will take effect from the day of passing thereof. " 5 SCHEDULE 'A' TO BY-LAW No. 2186-78 THE REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY OF YORK -PLANNING DEPARTMENT APRIL 13 , 1978 • EXPLANATORY NOTE RE: BY-LAW NUMBER 2186-78 This By-law proposes to amend By-law Number 2142-77, the Zoning By-law as it applies to lot 4 of Registered Plan 461 which is located in lot 85, Concession 1 E.Y.S. (between Yonge Street and Old Yonge Street) to permit the subject lands to be used for residential purposes. The Rural Zone which effects these lands requires a minimum lot size of 25 acres for a residential use. This By-law would grant an exception to the zone requirements to permit the erection of a single fa~ily dwelling on the subject lands which are approximately 1 acre in size. Since the lands surrounding the subject lot are largely dev§lop- ed for residential purposes on similar sized lots it is felt to be appropriate to make this exception. ' \ ---.• " ..
