OF THE MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA
BEING A BY-LAW TO AMEND BY-LAW NUMBER 2142-77
A RESTRICTED AREA (ZONING) BY-LAW
Whereas it is deemed advisable to amend By-law 2142-77.
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town
of Aurora enacts as follows:
1. That Section 5.2 is hereby amended by adding the following
as Part (8)
"All that part of Lot 71, Concession 1 E. Y.S. in the Town
of Aurora formerly in the Township of Whitchurch, as shown
designated "RR2" on Schedule "H" hereunto annexed."
2. No part of this By-law will come into force without the
Ontario Municipal Board approval, but subject to such
approval, the By-law will take effect from the day of
passing thereof .

EXPLANATORY NOTE
RE: BY-LAW NUMBER -2l.S5.-78
This By-law proposes to amend By-law Nufuber 2142-77, the
Zoning By-law as it applies to a Registered Plan of Sub-
division located in part of Lot 71, Concession 1 E.Y.S.,
in the Town of Aurora from Rural (R) Zone to Residential
Rural Estate FiTst Density (RR2) Zone as shown on Schedule
"H". The rural zone which presently affects the subject
lands requires a minimum lot size of 25 acres for a res-
idential use. The Rural Estate First Density Zone requires
a minimum lot size of 2 acres. Since the lots on. the regis-
tered plan in question, average around 5 acres in size'it
is felt to be more appropriate to zone these lands, which are
almost fully developed for residential purposes, as Rural
Estate First Density Zone.
