A BY-LAW TO .Al"lEND BY-LAW 1867, AS .Al"lENDED BY BY-LAW 1926-71, BE FURTHER Al'1ENDED BY DELETING THE PENALTY CLAUSESSET OUT IN BY-LAW 1867. WHEREAS it is deemed expedient to amend certain provisions of By-Law 1867; NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Aurora enacts as follows: 1. THAT Part V, Clauses 1, 2 and 3 of By-Law No. 1867 be deleted and a new Part V be added so that Part V shall now read as follows: PART V PENALTIES: 1. Any person violating any of the prov~s~ons under Part mii, Sections 1,2,3,5,6 and 7 may make settlement within five 2. days at the Town of Aurora Administrative Centre; Saturdays, Sundays and holidays excepted, on payment of five (5) dollars, otherwise a summons may be issued and upon conviction, Clause 3 of Part V shall apply. Any person violating any of the provisions under Part III, Section 4 (1), 4 (2) and 4 (3) may make settlement within five days at the Town of Aurora Administrative Centre; Saturdays, Sundays and holidays excepted, on payment of ten (10) dollars, otherwise a summons may be issued and upon conviction, Clause 3 of Part V shall apply. 3. Any person violating any of the provisions of this By-Law shall be subject, upon conviction, to a penalty of not less than ten dollars for the first offence and not more than fifty dollars for every subsequent offence, exclusive of costs, and all such penalties shall be recoverable under the Ontario Summary Convictions Act. 2.
