BYLAW - Parking Restrictions - 19710607 - 192271l '--w--v' BY-LAW NUMBER 1922-71 OF THE MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA A BY-LAW TO RESTRICT PARKING WHEREAS the Municipal Corporation of The Town of Aurora is the owner of Block "E", Plan 475, Town of Aurora; AND WHEREAS Section 379 (108) of The Municipal Act, R.s.o. 1960, Chapter 249, provides for the prohibiting of parking on private property without authority from the owner or occupant of such property: AND WHEREAS the Municipal Corporation of the Town of Aurora is the owner of the said lands and operates a Community Centre on the said lands; NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: 1. That no vehicle shall be parked on the property under or between signs desigjlated "No Parking At Any Time" immediately in front of the Community Centre between Aurora Heights Drive and the parking lot at the south; 2. Not withstanding the provisions of para. 1, a vehicle may stand in the area so indicated as a '"Standing Zone" for a period not to exceed 10 minutes for the purpose of picking up or discharging passengers or for the loading or unloading of equipment; 3. That any person violating any provision of this By-law shall be subject to a penalty of not more than Five Dollars ($5.00) for the first offence and not more than Ten Dollars ($10.00) for every subsequent offence, exclusive of costs. 4.
