BYLAW - Amend 1863 - 19711016 - 193471r·· BY-LAW NUMBER 1934-71 OF THE MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF THE 'ID'WN OF AURORA A BY-LAW 'ID PROVIDE FOR THE AMENJM:NT TO THE RESTRICTED AREA BY-LAW NUMBER 1863 OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA 'ID DEFINE AND CLARIFY PUBLIC AUTHORITIES WITHIN THE DEFINITIONS OF THE SAID BY-LAW, BE IT ENACTED BY The Corporation of the Town of Aurora. as an amendment to the said By-Law 1863 as follows: 1, THAT Sub-paragraph (xl) of Section V of the said By-Law 1863 be deleted, 2, THAT a new Sub-paragraph (xla) be added as follows: (xla) "public authority" shall mean any school board, public utility commission, transportation commission, public or other board, commission, committee or local authority established or exercising any power or authority under any general or specific statute of Ontario with respect to any of the affairs or purposes of a municipality or a portion thereof and includes any committee or local authority established by by-laws of the Council; and any public body or company which supplies a public utility to the Town of Aurora. 3, THAT a new Sub-paragraph (xlb) be added as follows: (xlb) "public utility" shall mean water, artificial or natural gas, electrical power or energy and telephone service, 4, THAT this by-law shall come into force and effect when approved by the Ontario Municipal Board, 18th day of OCTOBER • 1971. pi)ffiD TIME AND FINALLY PASSED THIS 18th day of OCTOBER , 1971, MAYOR CLERK • , J' i )i R 7165 ONTARIO ONTARIO MUNICIPAL BOARD IN THE MATTER OF Section 35 o,f The Planning Act, (R.S.O. 1970, c. 349) -and - IN THE MATTER OF an applica- tion by The Corporation of · the'Town of Aurora for approval .of its Restricted Area By-law 1934-71 B E F 0 R E : W.
