' · · Of the Municipal Corporation of the Town of Aurora' A BY-LAW TO AMEND BY-LA\v # 1480, WHICH PROHIBITS THE DISCHARGE OF GUNS AND FIREARMS, WHERE4S the Council of the Town of Aurora passed By-law 1480,to prohibit persons from discharging guns and firearms within the Town of Aurora, in 1961, AND WHEREAS, the boundaries of the Town of Aurora have now been greatly expanded with the changes in boundaries under the Regional Municipality of York Act, AND WHEREAS the Council deems it appropriate to allow· the discharge of guns by owners or residents in those areas which prior to January lst, 1971 were allowed to discharge firearms, NOW THEREFORE THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF AURORA ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: 1, THAT Clause 1 of By-law# 1480 be amended to read Clause 1 (a), 2, THAT a new clause be added as follows and shown as Clause 1 (b),' 1 (b) THAT the provisions of By-law# 1480 should not appl~to any person.' or persons that formerly did reside in the Township of King and the Township of Whitchurch and whose property was annexed to the Town of Aurora under the boundary changes brought about by the Regional Municipality of York Act effective January 1st, 1971, ST AND SECOND TIME THIS ~~~~DAY OF f)C-rD6£~ ,1971 READ A T~IRD TIME AND FINALLY PASSED THIS lit DAY OF ~ • 1971.
