BY-LAW NUMBER 1780 OF THE MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA _., -· • _,.t A BY-LAW TO EXPROPRIATE PART OF LOT 105, PLAN 246, TOWN OF AURORA WHEREAS the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1960, Chapter 329, Section 333, provides that By-laws may be passed for acquiring or expropriating any land required for the purposes of the Corporation; AND WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Aurora considers it necessary and advisable to expropriate the land described below for the purpose of locating a highway to provide access to lands owned by the Corporation. NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: 1. THAT the following lands be and they are hereby expropriated for the purpose of extending Industry Street Northerly: THE LANDS TO BE EXPROPRIATED ARE AS FOLLOWS: ALL AND SINGULAR that certain parcel or tract of land and premises, situate, lying and being in the Town of Aurora, in the County of York, and being composed of Part of Lot 105 according to a Plan filed in the Registry Office for the Registry Division of the North Riding of the County of York as Number 246 for the Town of Aurora, more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at an iron bar planted at the North-east angle of Lot 107, Plan 246 for the said Town of Aurora; THENCE NORTH 74 degrees 43 minutes 30 seconds East, 230.19 feet to an iron bar planted, to the place of commencement; THENCE NORTH 72 degrees 59 minutes 45 seconds East, 58.04 feet to an iron bar planted; THENCE continuing North 72 degrees 59 minutes 45 seconds East, 86 feet; THENCE NORTHERLY on an arc to the left having a radius of 615.96 feet, an arc distance of 217.01 feet to an iron bar planted; THENCE NORTHERLY on an arc to the right having a radius of 529.96 feet an arc distance of 225.48 feet; THENCE NORTH 12 degrees 04 minutes 30 seconds-West, 488.42 feet to an iron bar planted in the Northerly limit of Lot 105, Plan 246; THENCE SOUTH 73 degrees 38 minutes 30 seconds West, 43.12 feet; THENCE SOUTH 12 degrees 04 minutes 30 seconds East, 485.17 feet; THENCE SOUTH 12 degrees 04 minutes 30 seconds East, 435 feet to the place of commencement. 2.
