BYLAW - Regulate Traffic and Parades - 19660228 - 167366BY-LAW NUMBER 1673-66 OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA TO REGULATE TRAFFIC AND PARADES AND PROVIDE FOR EMERGENCY "NO PARKING" WHEREAS SECTION 403 (3) OF THE ONTARIO MUNICIPAL ACT, R.S.O. 1960, PROVIDES.'FOR REGULATING TRAFFIC AND PARADES. THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: 1. ALL persons and/or organization desirous of holding a parade within,· 1 . of the Town of Aurora shall, at least ir( days prior to the date of such the limits~ ' parade, make application to the Aurora Police Department on application form shown (SbhedU.J:e"A") for permit. 2. When properly worded signs have been posted or erected and are on display no person shall park a vehicle in such emergency " NO PARKING " zones as may be des;j;gnated from time to time by the Police Committee and the streets or parts of streets so designated shall be considered 11 NO PARKING" zones for such length of time as the Police Committee shall stipulate. 4. Any person violating any of the provisions of this by-law shall be subject to a penalty of not more than Ten Dollars ($10.00) for the first offence and not more than Fifty Dollars ($50.00) for every subsequent offence, exclusive of costs, and all such penalties shall be recoverable under the Ontario Summary Convictions Act.
