of the M1ilnicipal Corporation of the
TOWN OF AURORA
A BY-LAW UNDER THE PLANT DISEASES ACT
WHEREAS the Plant Diseases Act, RSO 1960, Chapter 297
as amended by RSO 1966, c. 117, s. 2 (1) empowers the
council of any municipality to designate any disease
or injury of plants, whether or not designated a plant
disease in the regulations •
. THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION 'G:F THE
MUNICIPALITY OF THE TOWN OF AURORA ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
~l) l. THAT D1iltch Elm Disease is designated a plant y }I
disease within the meaning of the Plant Diseases Act,
RSO 1960, Chapter 297 and the amendments thereto,
and Regulation 485, RRO 1960 and the amendments thereto.
2. THAT Harold Van pyke shall be, and is hereby,
appointed an Inspector to enforce the Act, the
regulations and any By-Law passed thereunder with
respect to every plant disease designated therein
within the Town of Aurora.
3. THAT for the faithful performance of his duties
as Plant Diseases Inspector Harold Van Dyke shall be ~

4. BY-LAW NO. 1652-65 is hereby repealed. 44/'.l.fJ
5. THIS BY-LAW shall take effect when approved ~~.
by the minister of Agriculture.
