THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA

Being a by-law to extend George Street to Kennedy Street.
WHEREAS pursuant to the provisions of The Municipal Act,
municipalities may pass by-laws for establishing and laying out
highways.

AND WHEREAS the municipality has pur chased the land requ±red
for extending George Street from the adjacent property owners.
AND WHEREAS the proi1iisions of The Municipal Act has been
complied with in respect to the extending of the said George Street.
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Town of Aurora ENACTS
AS FOLLOWS
1. That All and Singular that certain parcel or tract of land
and premises, situate, lying and being in the Town of Aurora, in
the County of York, being composed of : -
FIRSTLY: Part of Lot Three (3) according to a plan filed in the
Registry Office for the North Riding of the County of York as number
38, and which said parcel is more particularly described as follows:
CO~~ffiNCING at a stake planted in the Southerly limit of a plan
filed in the Registry Office for the North Riding of the County of
York, as Number 30, distant sixteen feet, two inches (16'2")
measured westerly thereon from the Easterly limit of Lot 77 as
shown on said Plan 30; Thence Easterly along the southerly limit of
said Plan 30, thirty-five feet (35') to the line of an old fence
running southerly for the line between lots two (2) and three (3)
according to said Plan 38; Thence South 10 degrees 57 minutes
East along said fence, six hundred and forty feet, eight inches
( 640' 8") to the northerly limit of Kennedy Street; Thence South 72
degrees 44 minutes West along the northerly limit of said Kennedy
Street, thirty-three feet twp and three-eighth inches 02 1 2 3/8")

to an iron bar; Thence North 10 degrees 57 Minutes West, Six Hundred
·and forty feet, ten and three-quarter inches (640'10!") to the place
of beginning. The said lands being outlined in blue on deed number
10275 for the Town of Aurora.
SECONDLY:
Part of Lot 2 according to a plan filed in the Registry Office for
the North Riding of the County of York as number 38, and which said
parcel is more particularly described as follows:
COMMENCING at an iron pipe planted in the southerly limit of a plan
filed in the Registry Office for the North Riding of the County or
York as Number 30, distant two inches (0'2") measured Easterly thereon
from the Westerly limit of Lot 79 according to said .Plan 30; Thence
Westerly along the southerly limit of said Plan 30, thirty-one feet
four inches (31 1 4") to the line of an old fence running southerly
for the line between lots two ( 2) and three (3) according to said Plsn
3~; ~hence South lO degrees '7 minutes East along said fence, six
hundred and forty-feet eight ··inches l640' 8") to the northerly limit
of Kennedy Street; Thence Narth 72 degrees 44 minutes ~ast along

being outlined in red on deed number 10277 for the Town of Aurora,
