AUIDRA NJOJAC~S AS l!OLLOWS: 1. :rhat storm sewers or drains, as hereinafter provided, as a local Improvement under ~e Local Improvement Act, be constructed as follows: 2. On Wells Street from Cousins Drive to Kennedy Street East. On Gurnett Street from Connanght Street to Kennedy otreet East. On Cousins Drive from Creek ~~st to mdwa.rd ~treet. to One• Cousins JJri ve from Yonge .;;treet/ creek '~<'ill1i of wells Street. :that Messrs • .Proctor, .tiecl:fern and Laughlin be and they are hereb y appointed the engineers to forthwith make such plans, profiles a.nd specifications a.nd furnish such information a.s may be necessary for the making of a contract or contracts for the execution of the said work. i: ~ : ----·-·-· -- That the work shall be carried on and executed under the SUper- intendence and according to the directions and orders of such engineers. 4. The Ma¥or and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to cause a contract. or contracts for the construction of the work, to be made and entered into with some person ar persons, firm or aorporation, subject to the approval of this Council to be declared by Hesolution. 5. 'l'he treasurer may agree with a.ny bank or person for temporary a.d- vances of money to meet the cost of the work pending the completion of it. 6. '.!:he special assessment shall be paid by twenty annual instalments. 7. '.!:he debentures to be issued for the loan to be effected to pay for the cost of the work when completed shall bear interest at such rate as tm Council may determine and be made paya~le within twenty years on the instalment plan. e. Any person whose lot is specially assessed may commute for a pay- ment in cash the special rates imposed therean by paying the portion of the cost of construction assessed upon the lot, without the interest, forthwith after the tipeoial Assessment bDll has been certified by the Clerk, and at ·any time thereafter by the Pa¥llient of such sum as when invested at four percent, per annum will provide an annuity sufficient to pa¥ the special eates for the un- expired portion of the term as they fall due • .lla.ted at the Oounoil Chambers, -"urora, this ~ day of uotober, 1949 • the Oounoil Chambers, aurora this '3 day of uotober, 1949.
