A By-law to authorize the construction of a storm
sewer on Berezy Street, in the Town of Aurora, from a point
in the said street where the sane is intersected by the South
limit of Wellington Street to South limit of Bercz„ Street, as a
local improvement under the provisions othe Local improvement Act.
WFEREAS The T. Sisman Shoe Co. Ltd., and others have pet-
itioned the Council to construct as a local improvement the work
hereinafter described and the Clerk hays certified that petition
is sufficient and it is expedient to grant the prayer of the petition
in the manner hereinafter provided.,
AND WhEREAS by Revised Statutes of Ontario, 1914, Chapter
1" and Amending Acts, power is conferred on the Council of the r;iun-
icipality to pass a by-law on petition of the ratepayers that work

should be undertaken as a local improvement under the provisions
of the Local Improvement Act, r

DOWN OF AURORA, ENACTS AS FOLLOWS! -
That a storm sewer be eonstructed.on Berczy Street in
the said Town of Aurora, from a point where the said street is inter-
sected by the Southerly limit of Wellington Street to the South limit
of Berczy Street, as a local improvement under the provisions of the

Local Improvement Act.

(2) That the engineers of the Corporation do forthwith make
such plans, profiles and specifications and furnish such information
as mAy be necessary for the making of a contract for theexecution
of such work.
(3) That the work shall be carried on and executed under the
/ supervision and according to the directions and Drders of such en-
gineers.
(4) That the 1-ayor and clerk are authorized to cause a contract

for the construction of the work to be made' and entered into with
some person or persons, firm or corporation, subject to the approval
of this Council, to be declared by declaration.
(5) That the Treasurer may, subject to the approval of
he Council agree with any bank or person for temporary advances

f money to meet the cost of the work, pending the completion of it.
(6) That the special assessment shall be paid by twenty
annual instalments, and the Corporation of the Town of Aurora shall
I)ay ninety-five per cent of the cost, and, the five per cent shall
be charged against the frontage on the said street,.
(7) That the debentures to be issued for the loan to be
effected to pay for the cost of the work when completed, shall bear
nterest at the rate of, per centum per annum, and be

made within twenty years, on the instalment plan.
