Alitora, between the Easterly limit of Yonge Street, to Ross Street,
as a local improvement under provisions of the Local Improvement Act.
¢, EREAS and others have petitioned
the Council to construct as a local improvement the work hereinafter "
described., and the Clerk has certified that the petition is sufficient
and it is expedient to grant the prayer of the petition in the manner
hereinafter described.
AND d'EEREAS by Revised Statutes of Ontario, Chapter
193, Section 9, and Amending Acts, power¢ is conferred on the Council
�of the Municipality to pass a by-law on petition of ratepayers that � such work should be undertaken as a local improvement under provisions
of the Local Improvement Act.

THE TOWN OF AURO' A ENACTS AS OLLOti

(1) That storm sewers, curbs and gutters be constructed on
both sides of Wellington Street in the Town of Aurora, at a point where
' the said street is intersected by the Easterly limit of Yonge Street
to Ross Street as a local i.rprovement under provisions of the Local
Improvem nt Act. -
(2) That the engineers of the Corporation do forthwith
make such plans, proftfa and specifications and furnish such informa
�Nion as may be necessary for the making of a contract for the execu-
tion of such work.
(3) That the work shall be carried on and executed under
the supervision and according to the directions and orders of such
engineers.
(t}) That the Mayor and Clerk are authorized to cause a
contract four the construction of the mrk and entered into

with some person or persons, firm or corporation, subject to the
approval of this Council, to be declared by resolution:,
(5) That, the Treasurer may subject to the approval of
the Council agree with any bank or person for temporary advances
money to meet the cost of the work rending the completion of it.
(6) That the special assessment shall be paid by twenty
annual instalments# and the Corporation of the Town of Aurora shall
pay ninety-five per cent of the cost, and the five per cent shall

be charged against the frontage on the said street.
(7) That the debentures to be issued for the loan to
be effected to pay for the cost of the work when completed, shall

ear interest at the rate of /� per centum per annum,and
madeAwithin twenty years, on the Anstalment: plan.
