MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING HELD IN THE
COUNCIL CHAMBERS, WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 31st, 1983 at 7:30P.M.
Present Were: Mayor Richard Illingworth and Councillors Richard Barker, Tim Jones,
Len Ostick, Martin Paivio, Earl Stewart, and John West.
Councillor Norm Stewart on vacation.
INFORMATION FOR COUNCIL
1. Vandorf Sideroad
Mayor Illingworth informed Council members that the Vandorf Sideroad is now
open.
2. Wellington Enterprises -Sod Turning Ceremony
Mayor Illingworth advised Council members that Wellington Enterprises will
be having a sod turning ceremony next week.
3. New Reporter -Aurora Banner
Mayor Illingworth introduced Doug Devine to the members of Council. He is a
new reporter for the Aurora Banner.

Environment to close St. John's Sideroad on September 1, 1983 from
8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
