RESOLUTIONS
1. Land Division -Delegation of Consent Function
West:
E. Stewart:
Whereas under the New Planning Act, the Region of York has to
consider if it desires to delegate its authority to a Land Division
Committee, a Committee of Council or its constituent municipality or
municipalities;
And Whereas this matter must be considered and adopted by the
Regional Council prior to August 1st, 1983.
Now Therefore Be It Resolved That the Region of York Council be
advised that the Council of the Town of Aurora wishes the current
Land Division Committee to carry on until December 31st, 1983;
And Further Be It Resolved that the Region of York Council be
advised that the Town of Aurora would prefer to handle their own
Land Division applications starting in January, 1984.

2. Town of Richmond Hill By-Law Number 111-83

Resolved that the Town of Richmond Hill be advised that the Town of
Aurora objects to Town of Richmond Hill By-Law Number 111-83,
Section 3 -8.4 and recommends that it be changed to read:
"8.4 A strip of land not less than 5 metres in width
inside and abutting the frontage of the subject
lands shall not be used for any purpose other
than landscaping, but this shall not prevent
the provisions of entrances and exits to the
subject lands."

3. Re-Purchase of Industrial Land

Resolved that the Town of Aurora repurchase the 1.079 acres of
industrial land, Part 1, Plan 65R-4236, from Mary Tzarik at a total
cost of $61,345.00 and the Seal of the Corporation be attached
hereto.
