Hot Mixed H.L. 3 Asphalt Paving Ostick: Simmons: "Resolved that the Tender of Warren Bitulithic for Contract No. MM-79-3, Hot-Mixed H.L. 3 Asphalt Paving, in the total amount of $45,015.00 be accepted, subject to the approval of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications, and the Seal of the Corporation be attached hereto". CARRIED Industrial Parkway Extension Stewart: West: CORRESPONDENCE: "Resolved that the Tender of Fernview Construction Co. Ltd. for the Industrial Parkway Extension, in the total amount of $328,077.61 be accepted, subject to the approval of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications, and the Seal of the Corporation be attached hereto". CARRIED 15-42 ontario Housing Corporation -Request for Certificate of Compliance Pedersen: Ostick: "Resolved that the Municipal Council of the Town of Aurora does hereby delay the requirement for street lighting in the Aurora Home Phase 1 Subdivision for a period of 3 to 4 weeks and a Certificate of Compliance be issued prior to the installation of same, provided all other conditions are met". JULY 25th, 1979 RECYCLING PROGRAM: Ostick: Pedersen: PUBLIC MEETING: Isaacson: Pedersen: Ostick: Simmons: Tonner: Mayor -2- "Whereas the Municipal Corporation of the Town of Aurora has been actively engaged, in conjunction with the Province of Ontario, in a recycling program, And Whereas the Province of Ontario has extended their involvement in this program only until December, 1979, And Whereas it has been proven that there is a great need for this type of program in this area, And Whereas the Town of Aurora is desirous of continuing this program but without subsidy monies will be unable to do so: Now Therefore Be It Resolved That the Municipal Corporation of the Town of Aurora does hereby petition the Province of Ontario to actively continue their support in the recycling program and to upgrade the services available until the Provincial policy regarding recycling is finally decided". CARRIED Amendment #ll -Aurora Country Estates "Resolved that a Public Meeting be held on Tuesday, August 14, 1979 -at 7:30 -to discuss Amendment #ll - Aurora Country Estates 11 • CARRIED "Resolved that the voting delegates to the annual conference of the Association of Municipalities for the year 1979 be as follows - Mayor George D.
