MINUTES - Special Council - 19760526il~ ' ~ ,. A SPECIAL MEETING OF COUNCIL HELD IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS ON WEDNESDAY MAY 26TH. 19?6 AT ?:00 P.M. PRESENT WERE: Mayor Buck, Councillors Davis, Jackson, Miller, Roth, Simmons, Stewart, Timpson and Williamson. Mr. J. Gellany appeared before Council to ask for Council's consideration of his proposal for his Yonge St. North property. The Plan outlined by Mr. Gellany contains: 216 apartment units, 111 townhouse units and a 40 unit motel with additional space for 80 units to be added at some future date. Williamson: Timpson: Jackson: Timpson: "Resolved that the site plan proposal submitted by Mr. Gellany to-night be accepted." CARRIED "Resolved that the Mayor and staff be authorized and instructed to expedite this proposal and in preparing the site plan, and official plan amendment .documentation." CARRIED Wellington Street East -Reconstruction Williamson: "Resolved that the Town of Aurora accept·their share Jackson: of costs for the reconstruction of Wellington St. East and request detailed contract costs share to be presented as soon as possible." CARRIED Wimpey Subdivision -Street Name Miller: Timpson: _, "Resolved that the street in the Wimpey Subdivision Block M Plan M 1~40 be named "Parkland Court"."
