~elicitor's Firm of W ·ir & Foulds regarding Del Zotto's ProRerty. Mr. Michael
McQuade acted as spokesman and addressed Council regarding the Del Zotto land
and the Mc:Cc,aald Drive extension. Mr. McQuade confirmed his client's willingness
to deed the 33 feet of land for the easterly portion of the McDonald Drive
extension along the entire length of their property, but questioned the amount
they were requested to pay and it was suggested that the earliest a meeting could
be held between the two parties would be July 26, 1971. Mr. McQuade then stated
that he was requested by his client to determine during his appearance whether
or not he could obtain building permits which had been applied for. Council
answered this enquiry by stating that the proposals which he had filed with
Council had been referred to the area planning branch of the Regional Planning
Office for study and report and that permits could not be obtained at this point.
