MURRAY, DEPUTY REEIJE J. WILLIAMSON, COUNCILLORS BUCK, CORBETT, DAVIS. Mayor Davis stated that the,meeting was called to consider Committee Reports, By-Lsws end any other business. COMMITTEE REPORTS Works Committe; Councillor Davis verbally reported that the Town Engineer and Town Superintendent had studied the tenders received for patching, and read the report of the Town Engineer, DAVIS: "Whereas asphalt patching is req~ on various streets in the MURRAY: Town of Aurora; And Whereas it :1-,a ~stimated 125 tons of asphalt may be required; Therefore be it resolved that the tender quotation of Al Chapelle Paving; dated July 15, 196S at the unit price of $16.50 per ton laid per engineer's directions for asphalt patching on various streets in the Town of Aurora be accepted, subject to the approval of the Department of Highways,. and that.the Corporate Sea:I. be attached hereto~" CARRIED JILmATION ·*'~ S.ck, Solicitor fo:t. CARRIED Additions to Fire Hall & Victoria Hall CORBETT: DAVIS C: "Whereas the Ontario Municipal Board has approved of the addition to the Fire Hall and Victoria Hall in the total estimated amount of $26,000.00; RESOLVED THAT the Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to sign a contract ,.Jith Model Builders (Au;rora) Ltd., in the amount of 1~18,525.00 and that the Seal of the Co;rporation be attached hereto." Petlovany Property CARRIED Councillor Buck reviewed the circumstances involved in the sale of the Petlovany Property to Mrs. Eerskovits and the possible resale of the property by Mrs. Herskovits. BUCK: "Resolved that the agreement signed by the Town and Mrs. DAVIS: Herskovits be registered against the title." CARRIED CORBETT: "Resolved that the meeting be adjourned." CARRIED MURRAY: "That the adjournment be waived for a short time in order for the CORBETT: Town Solicitor to present several items."
