payment af' expenses: for Members a:f Council
and Department Heads authorized to attend
Conventions, Seminara, Meetings: etc. 1 be
adopted as follows' and that each item be
considered separately
(a) Ench member of Council, with the
exception of the Tflayor and Department Head
be authorized a Total Expenditure of $250.00
per year to attend conventions, etc.
pertaining to his Committee, or Department.
(b) This sum is to include Registration,
Travelling and Accomodation Expenses for
the member of Council or Department Head
only as follows::
(l) A mileage allowance of 14 cents per
mile, based on D .H •. 0. mileage:, if personal
automible is; used, and this rate to include
parking and other mis:cellaneous expenses, or
actual air or rail fare.
(ii) The per diem allowance f'or hotel and
meals to be set at $25.00 per day £'or c
24 hour period and $10.00 per day if hote1
acc:o.modation is: not required.
(c) All attendance of Councillors ar
Department Heads is to be included in. a
Committee report and submitted to Council

(d) The !Ylayor is authorized a total
expenditure of $500.00 per year.
(e) The Reeve and Deputy Reeve, or any
member of Council representing another body
e.g. County Council, Holland Valley
Conservation Jmthority etc. cannot a;laim
from both organizations, 'but only from the
body which euthorized expenditures.
(f) A Member of Council or Department Head
who is requested to attend a Convention,
Seminar etc. other than for his: Respective
Committee or Depextment, e.g. Good Ronda,
o:.:M.A. etc. the expenses will not be
deducted from his Committee Allowance.
(g) A report. of attendance is to. lbe
submitted to reapective Committee' on return,
