II APPROVAL OF THE AGENDA General Committee recommends: THAT the agenda as circulated by the Customer and Legislative Services Department be approved. CARRIED III DETERMINATION OF ITEMS REQUIRING SEPARATE DISCUSSION Item 1 was identified as an item requiring separate discussion. IV ADOPTION OF ITEMS NOT REQUIRING SEPARATE DISCUSSION None Special General Committee Meeting Report Monday, September 30, 2013 Page 2 of 2 V DELEGATIONS General Committee recommends: THAT the Procedural By-law be waived to allow more than five minutes for the delegation. CARRIED (a) Ian Smith, Consultant from MNP Re: Item 1 – CAO13 -022 – Service Level Review – Interim Report – Council Workshop Mr. Smith presented details of the Interim Report of the Town of Aurora Service Level Review including its purpose and primary goal, objectives and scope, strategic context, summary of service inventory, results from interviews and focus groups, review of municipal comparators, key conclusions, potential efficiency and effectiveness improvements, and proposed next steps. General Committee recommends: THAT the comments of the delegate be received for information. CARRIED VI CONSIDERATION OF ITEMS REQUIRING SEPARATE DISCUSSION 1. CAO13-022 – Service Level Review – Interim Report – Council Workshop General Committee recommends: THAT Council receive report CAO13-022 for information. CARRIED VII ADJOURNMENT General Committee recommends: THAT the meeting be adjourned at 8:26 p.m. CARRIED GEOFFREY DAWE, MAYOR JOHN D.
