Ernst & Young re: Town's Financial Report for the Fiscal Year Ended December 31, 1993 Page 2 , Mr. Bowell presented the Town with the 1993 Financial Statements. The Auditors' Report indicates that the documents fairly represent the financial position of the Town and its consolidated operations for the prior fiscal year. Highlights of the Consolidated Statement of Operations include the fact that Provincial grants dropped significantly, yet the Town was in a position at year- end to carry forward a positive balance of $100,000. Laverdure, Resident re: Request for Speed limit Signs at 40 km/hr. to be Posted on Willow Farm lane Ms. Laverdure spoke on behalf of signatories to a petition in favour of reducing the speed limit on Willow Farm lane. In this regard, she pointed out that the topography of the road, with its hills and curves, made sighting potentially dangerous circumstances difficult. In addition, she noted that the roadway conducts a significant amount of traffic volume, serving both this and adjacent areas. She listed a number of similar streets that have the reduced limit and questioned whether the traffic study prepared by the Town was truly representative of traffic flow.
