Chief Administrative Officer, Deputy Clerk, Director of Planning, Director of Building Administration, Director of Public Works, Director of Personnel, Director of Leisure Services and Fire Chief. Councillor McKenzie declared a possible Conflict of Interest in Accounts paid to Herb McKenzie Auto Parts, due to monetary interest in same, and did not take part in or vote on any questions in this regard, or attempt in any way to influence the voting on such questions. Councillor Pedersen declared a possible Conflict of Interest in Accounts paid to Canada Law Book, due to employment with same, and did not take part in or vote on any questions in this regard, or attempt in any way to influence the voting on such questions. APPROVAL OF AGENDA #1. Moved by Councillor Pedersen Seconded by Councillor Timpson THAT the content of the Agenda be approved as outlined herein, with the deletion of third reading of Bill No. 3436-92. CARRIED DELEGATION Crothers Limited re: Planned Purchase of the Tractor/Backhoe for the Leisure Services Division Mr. Chuck Johnson, on behalf of Crothers Limited, appeared to discuss Report LS93- 002-005 and Staff's recommendation that Council purchase a John Deere Industrial Loader Backhoe. He stated that the Caterpillar 416, Series II offered by his company would cost the Town 7% less, would provide 16% more fuel efficiency, would have a 25 % larger loading bucket, was quieter and therefore safer, was easier to maintain and would resell in the fourth or fifth year of its life for a price approximately $3,000 greater than the John Deere model. Being a By-law to regulate the manner in which persons may perform certain actions, including construction of access driveways and connections to Town services (the Roadway Excavation Control Bylaw).
